Recovery of loan given to brother by cheque without any documents

I had given a loan to my brother for 15 lakhs without taking any documents. The only proof is a copy of the cheque given to him. Whether I can enforce legally and recover the money which is not repaid by him even after one year despite my oral requests. Also the court fees for filing a recovery suit against him in Coimbatore court for 15 lakhs
Yes, you can legal file a suit for recovery against your brother as you have the proof as cheque and you can use your bank account statement which would show that the amount has been withdrawn from your account. You need to keep in mind the limitation period as well. you will also have to pay requisite court fees as per your state.
