Person took loan but refusing to pay interest what can I do?

Sir My friend take private loan on my reference from a person that not legal money lender of Rs.100000/- @5%per month dt.22/12/2013 for ten month and I have sign in written as witness on plane paper My friend give int. 5000/- per month till Oct2015 and he said I have paid you int. amt.120000/- till now then I will not pay interest amt and I will return you principle amt in installment because my financial condition not well Now, the person force and torture me to clam int. and principle amount because you are Witness So Kindly advice what I m doing
You are a witness to the contract and not a guarantor. Legally there is no liability on you to repay the amounts. Approach the local police station if you are being harassed. Feel free to get in touch if we could be of any further assistance to you.
