Money lent to a friend not returning

My friend borrowed 35000. I have the what's app conversation. He agreed to return the money the next day...but it's been 9 days now. Now he doesn't reply to my messages. How can I get money back?

You can send him a legal notice asking for the money. You will have to provide the details as to when he asked for it; whether you agreed to pay him etc. If he does not respond to the legal query, you can also initiate recovery proceedings against him.
