Landed money to friend how can I recover the same

I have helped my friend one year back giving 1 lakhs, he told that he will return by September but till now he askiñg for more time and time but he not giving any amount, I have take just one blank check apart from that I don't have any proof that I have given he a money, please help me how ro recovery this money

First u deposit that cheque with your banker and if it is dishonored, sent legal notice through your Advocate than also of he fails to repay the amount than u can file criminal case under Section 138 of N I Act or u can file money recovery suit.

Write 2 lakhs on the blank cheque from others, and fill rest and present cheque for collection, if it bounce for funds insufficient or other reasons, issue demanding 2 laks if he pay one lakh let him
If won't pay file pcr against him where he will settle case by paying after taking bail.
Even if you proceed case you will get 2 lakhs
