Invested in company by signing MOU. Now no returns. What can I do?

01-May-2023 (In Recovery Law)
I had invested an amount of Rs.22 Lakhs in a company by signing M.O.U. for the period of three months. For the first two months he paid me the interest as he mutually agreed to pay me @ 6% per month. Afterwards till date he didn;t paid any single penny neither interest nor my initial amount. What action shall I do to recover my money. I submitted a written complaint to police station within its jurisdiction, but police are doing nothing. I met to the senior in the police station, but inspite of false promises, they are doing nothing. They had just filed Crpc 506 case against the accused since six months back, no action.

IF you have filed a complaint in the police station, they should take the action, or youll receive summons for appearing in court in a while. Otherwise, you can send them a legal notice under Order XXXVII of CPC, i.e. Recovery Suit. If you dont get a reply from the company, you can file a suit for the same.
