How to recover my money

06-Mar-2023 (In Recovery Law)
I opened monthly income scheme account in post office with joint name with my step mother after closing of father's account due to death in Dec 2005.my mother started cheating after six months, refused to give me half of monthly interest.I gave a written application to break my account & give me half amount.I do job 200 km from home,so I contacted many time to post office by postal mode, but inspite of my objection, post office paid whole amount to mother after maturing on June 2012.after contacting post office they replied that account was joint B mode so we are able to pay either of one.Now how I will get my half share, can consumer court will help me.

no you cannot hold the post office liable for this. and you cannot approach the consumer forum. you will have to send a legal notice to your mother for recovery of your share of amount and in case she does not pay then you can file a recovery suit against her. i hope you have documents in your support to prove the case.
