Your options are two: one to file a civil case for recovery of Rs. 11 lakhs together with interest and litigation costs, the other option is to file a criminal case for cheating. Since it is more than one year, it is better you initiate immediately both the actions simultaneously. The third option - a good one - filing a cheque bounce case is lapsed because of delay. I need to study all the papers connected with the transaction before quoting my fee.

Sir,
It is intentional fraud to get money from you by hiding the property already into litigation. You have grounds to file criminal complaint u/s sec.420,503.. etc. Filing cheque bounce case may be dragged for long time. we need to discuss about the fees.

thanks,
Adv.Niranjan.
