my dad's friend was a wood merchant who use to supply wood to my father as my dad is a caterer and my dad's friend has asked my dad for amount for her sisters operation and my dad had taken him to a person whose name is Mr X who is a Money lender and my father helped him in getting sum of ₹200000 on the basis of our own home documents for loan and dad's friend had paid the loan amount of 20000 for 2months and then he escaped. Then the money lender charged interest which came up to 700000₹ and then we applied for a bank loan of rs 2000000 and paid it to the money lender and hence it is very difficult for us to pay it to the bank so kindly help us from this problem.

The only option you have that you can file suit for money recovery against your father friend and you can also file case for cheating before magistrate court under section 420 of IPC for punishment.

You have no any documents of money transaction with your dads friend, so without a single piece of paper it is not possible to go for recovery.
As per facts transaction is with your Dad and money lender
Better during caterer with wood merchant manage to execute his signature on stamp paper or an instrument so that you can go ahead against him for recovery and initiate criminal proceedings.
Even know by managing police you can register criminal Case of 420 for cheating and recover but if your dads friend is not scared of police, Court then chances of recovery less because without documents cheating Case not sustain
