Friend not repaying the amount what case can I file against him

One of my friends in Chennai loaned 1.5 Lakhs to her friend , he paid 40 thousand and moved to Mumbai and now not attending her calls, can we file a summary suit for debt recovery, if so in which court in Chennai should this be done
Sir do you have any proof like promissory note or an agreement which states that he has taken the amount from you? If so then only you can file a summary suit as the lae is clear as per civil procedure code. What you can do is file a recovery suit against the person in the absence of any proof
