Credit Card settled in 2006 and still being harrassed

What to do if you are being harassed by the CREDIT CARD recovery agents today after 10 years although the card was settled and paid in 2006. Bank has kept it pending as i came to know and agents are calling using fake identities and harrassing my wife and kid at home during my absense.
Dear Querist,
1. Write a letter to the bank enumerating all the details , expressing grave concern in respect of the situation & conduct of bank and intimating that you will br constrained to take legal action if the matter is not resolved in 10 days.
2. Wait for 15 days then write separate letters to the RBI & Banking Ombudsman along with an annexure of the previous letter.
3. If its a private bank then hopefully the matter should be resolved by these actions. However, banks with government undertaking delays to take rectification action. Then after waiting for 15 days, you have to file a Writ against the said government bank in the concerned High Court having jurisdiction.
