Buyer refusing to pay remaining amount
12-Nov-2023 (In Recovery Law)
Sold my car to one person in 6.5 Lakh. 35k is still remaining in that amount. After transferring all the documents in his name he is saying deal was for 6.15L and refusing to give 35k remaining amount.
If the entire formality has been completed the possession and ownership of your car has passed to that person. If you have documentary evidence to show that the price originally agreed upon was Rs. 6.5 lakhs you may cause him a legal notice for payment of balance amount. If he refuses the only option for you is to file a money recovery suit in appropriate civil court.
