Broker not returning security money, what can be done ?

Hi, I have vacated a 3BHK in Noida sec 21. The broker was supposed to return me the security money but since 4 months he is ignoring our calls and not returning the security money. What should I do to get the money back?
Did you two entered into any sort of agreement? How did you pay security deposit? You'll have to send the broker a legal notice. Incase he fails to return the security deposit despite the notice, move recovery proceedings against him.

If you have given the money to broker with an agreement to return the same after a certain period of time or with any other condition to be complied with, you can first send him a legal notice to return your money and if he doesn't do that, you can either file a civil suit for the recover of your money or you can lodge a complaint with the police for the same.
