Am I liable to pay for debt taken by my father

sir my father died this january . he was handicapp for 8 month after met with accident in native . at that time my native people had spended some nominal money which i repaid . but they states they need more money . they are fooling us. as am normal middle class man . i do not know how to deal with this people ..please suggest

In case your relatives have lent money to your father then you are liable to pay such debts. But your relatives need to prove through some evidence that they lent money to your father. In case of no evidence, you are not liable to pay back the money.
