Will property belonging to grandfather count as ancestral

Sir please clarify whether property which belonged to my great grandfather will count as an ancestral property as my grandfather died in intestate in 1983 . After my grandfather's death all sons name got mutated in revenue records . I was born in 1970. I have a right in this property since it is undivided and no partition has been done since 1956. Pl tell whether this as an ancestral property or self acquired property. Can I claim for my share during life time of my father. This is agriculture property also less than 8 standard acre and one dal Dora abadi plot also.can my father sell it includes my undivided share without my consent. My father made agreement to sell dated 10-10-2006 and decreed against my father. How I get my share. I am from Hindu family.

No, u cannot claim during lifetime of your father. It will be deemed as self acquired property of your father. So you cannot claim any right during lifetime of your father. Therefore ur father has every right to dispose of the property.
