Will my husband have right in my mother in laws property

There is a property in the name of my motherinlaw who is no more. The daughters(3nos) are trying to take a major chunk of the property . How could that be stopped they are about a construct house in that property ,while one daughter had already constructed the other two are trying to accommodate themselves for a major chunk. Will my husband or son have the right to get an stay order on the property.Right now we are not staying in that place.Actually there are four elder brothers to my husband.Though the property is very small i feel that my hubby has the rights on the property.So please sugges

If your mother in law died intestate and the property she left behind was her absolute and own, then the property shall dvolve on all her legal heirs equally.

Your husband shall be entitled to 1/7th share in it.


Not only your husband, what about the other three brothers, are they keeping quiet watching this?

Your husband can file a partition suit and can ask for injunction in the same suit agaisnt their construction and for illegally occupying the same.
