What is the procedure of Mutation of property

Hi, I have purchased a land in 2015 but have not proceed for Dakhil Kharij yet. Please let me know what is the procedure of it. 1: What is the price of Dakhil Kharij? 2: Do I need to submit my origional registry with it? 3: How many days it will take for Dakhil Kharij?

Dakhil Kharij can be done upto 12 years and this procedure is done at the local tehsil .Yes you have to give notice to the person from whom you have purchased and a notice to the public at large also you have to submit original sale deed .Once there is no objection this procedure does not take much time.

dakhil kharij is a procedure of recording name of the new buyer of agricultural land and cancellation of name of the old owner from the revenue records. this is done at Tehsil of particular area where the land is situated. a form is to be filled and deposited before the Tehsildar. the process takes around 45 days. Original Registry is not deposited but it is to be produced as and when required by office of the Tehsildar. Photocopy will be submitted. Expenses depends upon your area.
