what is the procedure for partition of ancestral property

I want to know that 1 plot in my village on my grandfather's name. now he is expire and his 4 son are living there no partition has happened now 1 of them told he will build new home at this plot so my que is that can i get partition land from there as this is not of him this is grandfather land can i stop his building work. if yes whats the procedure for that plz suggest

Dear Client,
you can stop your uncle from constructing anything on the property unless a proper partition deed is not executed. if all the four sons agree then a partition deed can be executed and registered, by paying the stamp duty and registration fees. However if the sons do not agree then a partition has to be effected by filing a suit for partition in the appropriate court.
