What is the procedure for land diversion from farming land to education land?
For diversion you need to apply before the SDM as he only is empowered to divert the usage of land but as you need to get it diverted for educational land then it can be termed as for commercial usage of land. Further as per section 2(j) of industrial dispute act the educational property comes under industries definition and further there is a notification in MP that if the agricultural land is being used for industries and factories then the diversion for the same are exempted only an intimation regarding the same shall be given to the SDM for the usage of the land alongwith an affidavit

Hi,
land requires to be diverted by the order of SDO concerned area where land is situate. if it is in MP, then an application U/s. 172 of MPLRC is required to be filed and then it can be diverted upon paying the diversion fees.
