What is the claim of daughter in law in family property
07-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
I wanted to buy a property. But the problem is that the property was in the name of an old lady who have three sons but two of them died. Now, the power of attorney was give to the living child. Will there be any problem if the wives of other two brothers wants to claim for the property.
If the old lady is still alive then she can definitly do whatevwr she wants to do with her property. But if the old lady in whose name the property subsisted, the tiltle after deqth of the old lady in absence of her will automatically devolves in her legal heirs . And if any of the heirs die there right transfer to his heir respectively and the wives of the deceased have a say in that case.
