Sir,

The document dated 01.01.2014 can be construed as a will. It is not mandatory to register a will as per the Indian Registration Act, 1908. An unregistered will is a valid legal instrument if it has been duly executed as per the requirements under Indian Succession Act, 1925.
Is the document signed by the kartha? Is the document signed by two witnesses?
If the will is a valid one, then the daughter who took care of him will be the sole owner of his self acquired property.
The document has value today.
I will have to take a look at the will to comment on its validity. Please share the will and I can advice you properly.

Sir,
The said Rs.50 document was draft as like that of will? or a general script?, since the property came a undivided and it will be treated as joint family property and with a simple will just that cannot curtail their right in the capacity of heirs. I need further information in this regard.
