What is Daughter's share in mothers property ?

My father died before 2005.my mother died recently.i am divorced and have an elder brother who is married. During their lifetime my parents bought a property in my mothers name. As my mom died without any will do i have any rights on properry. Can my brother sell or transfer it in his name

Since your mother died intestate and if it was his self acquired property then as per section 10 of Hindu Succession Act, the property will devolve to all his legal heir including daugthers. You can file suit for partition thereby seeking your share in the property.

Further you file an application of temporary injunction thereby seeking stay on the land.
