What is better a Gift deed or a Will to transfer property

20-May-2023 (In Property Law)
My wife's uncle who lives in USA and is a green card holder there has bought a property for us around 4 years back (which was the share of her demised sister in property) at that time he said its your property and your share but now he is insisting to vacate the premises. There was no rent deed has been signed for the same and the property is in the name of her Uncle. Firstly, he said he will move to court but now he is saying he will Gift us the property. Could you please advise which is the better option whether a Gift deed or a Will deed to take the possession of the premises.

There are various instruments through which a property maybe transferred. Two of such instruments are gift deed and will. Both of them have their own respective benefits. Your query lacks the requisite details to suggest the most suitable mode of transfer. Consultation advised.
