wants to know whether the son gets any inheritance from father

I'm a boy and My parents divorced when I was 13 years all and I'm 25 now. I lived with my father but not anymore. My parents divorced because of my father's often drinking and beating my mother. I lived with my father with fear everyday and till today.. I always wanted to go out but I couldn't because my mother has no income and won't be able to support me financially. Do me or my mother gets anything? My father has property and now he remarried and has children too.. Dear advocates please help me with the laws. Thank You.
