Unauthorized construction of building on mother's land what to do

Hi, My mom has a property in trichy and residing near to it, the neighbour who is having his land next to ours complains that my mom's brother has used some of his land to construct his building on the other side. Now the neighbour guy disputes for some part of my mom's land as replacement for the land taken by mom's brother. He is starting to construct his building using some portion of my mom's land. what should be done to stop him. pls advice.
To take it legally you may proceed and get an injunction from the court restraining your neighbor to interfere with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of your property. In case if they still creating problem you may file a contempt of court petition to punish them. You must carry a valid document in your name to take the above steps and to prevent your property to be trespassed by an outsider.
