03-May-2023 (In Property Law)
Dear Sir/madam, My father has bought a land from Mr.X 25 years back and Mr. X has bought the same land from his own father Mr. XY 26 years back with a sale deed and as same Mr. XY has bought the same land from Mr. Z. with sale deed. Now the son of Mr. Z is claiming that the land belongs to his family stating that he has the original documents for that land. Here i want to know that, can the son of Mr. Z claim for that land ??

If the land was sold by Z through a valid sale deed and it was a self acquired property of Z and was eligible to sell that land than his son cannot claim that land. You need to contest this case in the civil court and you need to prove your case through documentary evidence that Z sold the land to XY.
