Buying any property from the GPA holder is not a problem but you need to check that the GPA is genuine and the owner must be alive, if he or she is not alive then the GPA holder does not have any right to make transaction over the property. the safest way is to get new GPA through courier from her.

Sir,
Please check that the said GPA is registered.? if yes, please check where it was signed and registered. In case if it was done at USA, confirm that is it adjudicated before the Registrar.

In case it was confirmed and the Vender not executed other GPA, then you can go for purchase of the property. by verifying other documents in respect of the property.

You need to obtain a copy of GPA and the documents relating to property. Many transactions of properties are done through GPAs. But without going through teh GPA and property purchase document its not advisable to give opinion.

Yes you can buy the property from the GPA holder, but you have to check whether the authorisation to sell the property is given to the GPA holder. If authorisation is given then you can buy the property through his GPA holder.
