Time limit for appearing before the court when no notice is received
04-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
what is the notice period for appearing before the court in property dispute? because mu uncle sued my father over a property dispute and we didnt receive any notice from court and we heard that he kept awaited in police station so that after completing the period my father gets arrested...................please advice
The notice period can be defined by the court only, as the summons sent by the court tells us the time when do we need to appear in the matter, you can approach the Court or the Police asking them the next day of hearing and appear in the court and telling them the circumstance for not appearing in the court.
