what are stamp duty and registration charges if husband wants to transfer property to his wife through gift deed or release deed. 1. as per this link, stamp duty is Rs. 200/- for husband-wife case. Is this correct? https://e-stampdutyreadyreckoner.com/Gift.html 2. Also I heard registration charges are revised from Rs.30000/- to Rs. 500/- from 1-apr-16 for gift deed, is that true?
