Dear Sir/Madam,
Stamp duty once paid does not lapses, you have to pay additional stamp duty charges for the increase in ready recogner prices if any and register your document you may be subject to penalty by the registrar since the period of registration under the registration act is 4 months from the date of the execution of instrument. Please get in touch for further advise.

As per registration act there is no such laps of stamp duty and registration charges paid to government by GRAS system through current account. Your agent is cheating you. Do not need to pay it. Regards
