Your property shows your status. On the basis of which wife can claim alimony during divorce. There are some grounds where alimony can be denied such as adultery, willful desertion, severe cruelty by wife etc and burden to prove the same will be on husband.

The western concept of wife also being responsible for a man `s earnings during the married time has led to the idea that a wife should take a share in husband`s property when there is a divorce. But it does not extend to assets made prior to marriage. But a wife is entitled to maintenance at the standard of her life with her husband prior to divorce. now, you think.

As u\you told your marriage is in trouble. She may try for claim over the your property or any amount as maintenance. But she cant. You are the absolute owner of the property. You have other method to protect your property now itself.
