Share in the price of the property sold by the mother on her name

Hi sir, I have a question regarding, Maternal Ancestor property rights? My mother got a land from his father side, now land title is stands in her name. & now she is planning to sell that piece of land. we are 2 sons & 3 daughters (all three married & settled in her husband place) are we having right to get the share from the selling price?? Please advice!!

According to my point of view ,No, ancestral property be cannot be sold without consent of successors because this property is not earned by your mother so she can not sell it to anyone. Legal heirs entitled to share to your mothers property..According to succession law you are legal heir of your grandfather's property. So you need not to worry.

Your mother is the absolute owner of the property if she has inherited from her father's side and you can't claim your right in that. If she wish she can execute Will or Gift Deed to her children. It can't be questioned unless it is acquired under fraud or misrepresentation .
