Share in Father's property
18-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)
I am Hindu and my age is 38 years. I am a girl child to my father and he thinks that girl is not our family. As my father want all his property be enjoyed by his son only, can I get a share in my father's property.
If your father is still alive and the partition of the property has not been done yet then you can file a case for partition claiming your share in the property. However, the said partition will only include the ancestral property inherited by your father through his father. Also, if your father dies inestate i.e, without making any will then you can also claim your share in the father's self acquired property.
