Seller concealed the facts about the property

09-Feb-2023 (In Property Law)
I had taken a shop in December on rent for 3 years for running a coaching class two months back The agreement was registered. On 7th Feb I was shocked when I found a notice issued by court that the entire land area including adjoining chawls will be demolished within a day. I found out from adjoining shops that a case was going on for demolition in high court from the last 4 years. The owner cheated me as I was not told about all this. I have spent 3 lakhs on renovation and interior designing of the shop and paid deposit of 1lakh and rent for 2 months. The owner is ready to return the deposit and rent but he is not ready to pay the amount that I have spent on renovation and interior designing. Please help me.

You need to give legal notice through lawyer for cheating and fraud by hiding the fact of litigation on that property. Also give notice for remittance of money taken along with interest & penalty. Regards
