Rights of grand children on ancestral property

18-Nov-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi, I am purchasing a property (farm land), in my case the main Party i.e. the owner has 2 wife. The Wife(1) has one daughter and for the wife(2) has 3 daughters and out of 3 daughters 2 daughters have some children who are already Major. In this case the main owner i.e. Husband and wife(1) is no more and the daughter of wife(1) has no children and she is ready for the sale .The Wife(2) on which the property is currently registered all the 3 daughters are ready for the sale. Does the children's of the second wife(2) daughters have any rights on the property, I mean the grand children's of wife(2).? Do I need to get their (grand children) signature while registering the property? This is general property (not OBC or other category)

If it is a self acquired property and she has executed a gift deed then your father is the absolute owner of the said property. You have no rights on the said property. Your father can dispose the same as he pleases. You will have no rights on the new property purchased by your father.
