Right of grandson to claim sold/unsold property of grandfather
30-Mar-2023 (In Property Law)
Do I have any claimable right on the sold/unsold property of my grandfather who passed away in 1988 ?
Yes you have a right over the property of your grandfather of it is unsold ....if it is sold and the money has been used then you don't have any property rights...you can claim your rights by filing a suit for declaration...

It depends upon the nature of property in the hands of grand father if it is ancestral than you have a right but if is self acquired than the grand father can deal it with their own way and you do not have any right in it.

Hi, you have every right in unsold ancestral property.
You can file a petition for succession from your ancestral property. If the ancestral property is sold recently, you can claim your portion of share as well.
