Right of grandchildren in grand father's property and how to divide?

My grandfather died without a will in 1986 and my grandmother died in 2012. They have 5 sons. After my grandfather's dead elder brother had taken control of the agricultural land n house. A settlement was reached in agricultural land but in division of our grandfather's house we r facing some problems with my uncle. My fathers elder brother is not agreeing​ as he wants a big share in the house to which others r not agreeing. Can we file a case I mean can we legally proceed for the division of house between 5 brothers equally. If we file a case will the agricultural land be divided equally among brothers. Who need to file the case my uncle's or grandsons. What are the rights of grandchildren in these disputes.
