Right of adopted son in fathers property

I was adopted at age 3 and have adoption deed for the same.My father is no more and according to me he has left some share in the property for me also.I am going to marry an Christian girl but my family is against this marriage as it is inter religion marriage.If I ask for my share in property can they refuse it or will they give it for sure to avoid any legal procedures.If they refuse can I seek any advice from advocate and will my suit in court be accepted.Please guide me with respective clause and section which will help me in my favour.please help me.

You did not mention your religion. Assuming you are a Hindu and your father left no will we can say that Hindu Law of succession will be applicable for you. Since your question is bereft of details I could not clarify further.

If you have been legally adopted and the adoption deed is registered then you have full rights in the property of your adoptive father who is reported to have died intestate.
You can file a partition suit seeking partition and separate possession of your legitimate share in the adoptive father's property.
Please be aware that you do not have any rights in the property that has been left intestate by your biological father or mother.
