Residential Plot papers found fraudulent after 25 years, what to do

Someone I know bought and sold a plot. It was unauthorized hence ownership transfer was by power of attorney. I will try to explain the ownership history and the dispute with a diagram. Original owner sold the plot 2 times in 1990 | --------------------------------------------------- | | Thumb print not matching in our chain papers here Appears after 25 years to take ownership of plot. Thumb-match | 3-4 owners in between | Someone I know [A1] | Another owner | Latest guy who bought it [B1] So basically our chain came out to be fake since the thumb prints are not matching when the plot was sold for the first time in 1990. I would like to know what is the liability of the person I know. Is he required to go to police station if the police calls him without any court orders? The investigating officer is dishonest. He has already asked for bribe from

need to see the papers..... prima facie this case is looking like fraudulent property transfer has had happened but this most important thing is possession ..... that I think You have..... Yes, this matter will solve from court only you have take a legal action right now.

All actions of fraud once it is proved is null and void. The liability of the person who sold you the plot will depend on whether he was a party to the fraud.
