If any government had given you or your grandfather any portion of property. They must have definitely given some documents in the regard. First of all enquire about the current status of your property from the concerned authority. If they show any legal document than you have to approach civil court and file a case of permanent injunction and when the judge will give order in your favour than you are free to do whatever you want to do. I can help you only when you give me the copies of your title over the suit property. If the property has given to you through legal medium than I can assure you no one can take your property.
