15-Mar-2023 (In Property Law)
my grand father died on 1996, my father died on 2001 , i am the only son , now my aunt(dad's sister) is filing case for share... recently property was transfered on my name..is my aunty sign is necessary for transfer.? is it compulsory to give share.. my aunty marriage was done before 35 years
No it is not compulsory. Also, your aunt can not claim her share in the property as both your Grandfather and Father died before the 2005 amendment came into force. Thus, she is not eligible to claim her share in the property.
