Property inheritance of a deceased divorcee
08-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi, How is the property share divided of a Childless Deceased Divorcee. Surviving family member's are Father, Mother and two full Sister's. Divorced in 2007, property purchased in 2013, passed away in 2015. Right now prop registered in name of Mother. Thanks in advance.
The property is registered in the mother's name makes her the absolute owner with a self acquired property status. She can equally divide the property in favour of her daughters through will or gift deed if she has an intention so.
