property dispute with father as i have paid bigger part in joint home

I have 2 properties in which i am the owner and my father is the co owner.I have filed numerous complaints in the police station as he has threatened me of physical harm and continues to do so.I want to sell these flats but he is not letting me do so and wants half the share inspite of having paid a fraction of amount whereas i have paid the bigger part.please advise as to what legal course should i follow

If shares are mentioned in agreement in proportion to your contributions only in that case you both will have PROPORTIONATE share otherwise both will have EQUAL share irrespective of the fact that you have paid more money. So amicably you may agree to half otherwise you may sue him partition.

Who is in possession of both properties?
If you are in possession Then there will be different strategy.
If you are not in possession then there will be different strategy.
Also, why is he opposing to sell..?
So, the advise can be given if more information is shared.
