recently my father has died.after death of my mother my mother my dad got second marriage.i'm only daughter for my father.step mother and me we both applied for death benefits of my father separately. we got a letter from office you need succession certificate from court . what is the process and how we get the certificate
Dear sir you have to file a succession original petition in the civil court and you should make the departments as respondents and u should file all the necessary documents to establish the relationship with your father after the evidence the court will grant you succession certificate. the documents required for filing along with succession certificate are the death certificate of your father and family member certificate from the Mandal revenue office.
once you file the application, the court will issue notices to all the legal heirs and then after hearing will issue a succession certificate.
