Procedure to accept gift deed in India

What is the way to accept Gift Deep by Donee in India. What is the legaly be considered as Donee accepted the gift (land property). Donee also going to SRO and providing signs and biometrics...... even though still the Donee need to accept gift in any other method?

If a Person signs the Gift deed at Sub registrar office in his capacity as Donee, then it is a valid acceptance.
In addition to the affixing of signature, the Donee should also mutate the revenue records( property tax/ patta passbook etc) in his/her name and also get the electricity bills etc transferred in his / her name. Mutation is additional evidence of acceptance of Gift by the Donee.
Even affixing name board on the property is additional evidence of acceptance of Gift by the Donee.
