Possession of land for 50 years any way to legalise the land?

Sir we are cultivating 2.5acre of agricultural land for lease by my father for more than 50 years without any lease deed. Now we are in the possession of the land and cultivating for about 50 years. We didn't have any legal documents about the land . Is it possible to legalize the land . If so what's the way. We belongs HINDU BACKWARD CLASS
Only good thing is you are in possession over the property for more than 50 years and as your father and the person who leased the said portion of 2.5 acres of agricultural land did not have any lease agreement. Thus, check with Taluk Office Revenue / Land Records in respect the Survey Number of the Land that you are Claiming to be cultivation, thereafter file application before the Tehsildar for entries of your name in the Revenue Records. Meet with all documents for proper advise. Its a bit typical process can't explained over the mail. You need to engage a lawyer and obtain NEC for the plot in question. Thanks.
