Please advice me on Property dispute as per the accepted Christian Law

28-Jun-2023 (In Property Law)
I am a Christian, during partition of my father's paternal property he registered some of his property in his brother's name for ease of selling. But till now that property was not sold. Should we do something to ensure that he would give that back to my father if no sale occurs ? He had given us a blank cheque as guarantee. Is that enough?

yes, you can ask your uncle to relinquish his rights towards your father in case the sale has not occurred in case of third party. in case the sale has occurred then you can use the cheque and as the person to sell that property to you. but make sure that you know the status of the property

The facts stated are less than convincing. It appears that the property has been duly conveyed to the uncle and law recognise him to be the proprietor. It is a matter within his discretion how to dispose of the property. If he is willing, you can arrange to gift the property to your father through a registered gift deed,
