Opponent cites that he has the title by adverse possession what to do

26-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
We have filed a suit for recovery of possession for which we hold the title against our step brother. The High court dismissed our appeal citing adverse possession and barred by limitation. We hold the title of the property by way of sale-deed but the opponent cites that he is in possession and perfected his title by adverse possession. what are the prospects of the case as we would like to appeal in Supreme Court???

HI,
you can approach supreme court chances of getting the relief is depends on the facts and circumstances of each case
independently. in adverse possession history only in one case only supreme court given the possession against the real owner.
if your case is dismissed on the ground of section 5 of the limitation by the HIGH COURT you appeal against that order in supreme court.

Hi
We need to see the order of High court before making comments.
Generally title ownership through adverse possession is criticized by courts.
So we need to see what are the contents of the High court order before we provide legal advise.
