One sister died will their daughters receive the share

My father Sekhar 1st elder brother Sarma died on dec-26th 2014, he remained as bachelor he had a house nd fixed deposits in bank, he has 4 brothers and 2 sisters[he is the eldest of all siblings], my father passed away in year 2008 ,Question is will we get the equal share with my father siblings, as next to my father elder brother Mohan is saying that we have no right to ask as my father died in 2008 itself & saying as i had done the cremation work at graveyard for Sarma i worth of receiving 1 share extra,kindly advice me with section no. if we are eligible to take equal share with others.

Since Sarma died intestate and was a bachelor at the time of his death, all the brothers and sisters(including your father) will be entitled to a share of his property.
As you are the legal heirs of your father, you will get his share. Please refer to Hindu succession Act 1956 & 2005 (succession to male properties- Agnates and Coagnates)
