One seller sold same flat to 2 different people. What to do?

One of the seller has sold a flat numbered 701 to us on 31/12/2014, then later he sold the same flat to somebody else on 06/06/2015..ow what to do pls help us in this situation?
this is a serious problem. selling one flat to different purchasers amounts to an offence under Indian Penal Code. you must inform in writing and lodged an FIR to your local police and prosecute him for the offences punishable under section 420,467,468,471,420 nof IPC. you can also prosecute him by filing private criminal case. there are civil remedies also availbale for you wherein you can file civil suit for declartion, cancellation and recovery of amount paid by the purchaser. before filing civil suit itis always advisable to issue legal notice to the said seller.
