Not returning money deal with the family member after he got muaawja

my brother is not returning money which he got from muaawja as my house comes in the way of national highway expansion. I also filed complain before he got money but I withdrew because he dealed with us to give some money but this deal was also not in writing. But after he got money, he turned and refuse to give money.And there is 1 month goes. I request Please suggest me quickly what I will do now??
See as you withdrew your complaint for compensation from the concerned authority, and had a deal with your brother over the share in the compensation provided by the Government, now all you can do is, hire a lawyer and send a legal notice to your brother for the payment of the amount and then if he still denies you will have to file a civil recovery suit against him for the payment of the money.

you have right to obtain money as your share in house. under section 3H (3) of National High way act you could move application for money before competent authority and authority distributed the amount in share, if there were any difficulty then competent maturity can refer the matter to principal civil court of original jurisdiction. in present case you have loose your chance only you can lodge criminal as well as civil case against your brother for got your share in money, opinion accordingly .
